Tech & Learning Awards of Excellence: Best of 2023
Tech & Learning magazine recognized Beanstack as the Best of 2023 Winner in the Primary School category, recognizing educational technology that supports teachers and students exceptionally. Judges said: “Beanstack has taken the right approach by giving students agency in selecting what they want to read. Anyone will read more if they are interested in the topic. Making it gamified will only increase that interest. Also, incorporating the community aspect of it will increase participation throughout the school.”

The annual Tech and Learning Awards celebrate the products and businesses transforming education in schools worldwide. According to the U.S.'s most tech-savvy and knowledgeable educators, they are awarded to the exhibitors at ISTELive 2023 who show the greatest promise to the industry. Beanstack was recognized for ease of use, value, uniqueness in the market, and proof that our product helps make teachers' lives easier and supports student achievement.
The EdTech Awards 2023 Cool Tools Finalist for Literacy/Reading Solution
The EdTech Awards finalists and winners feature the best and brightest in edtech with the annual program shining a spotlight on cool tools, inspiring leaders, and innovative trendsetters across the K-12, higher education, and skills and workforce sectors. They are the world's largest award program dedicated to edtech and recognizes outstanding contributions in transforming education through technology to enrich the lives of learners everywhere.
“This nomination recognizes our commitment to readers of all ages and abilities,” said cofounder and CEO Felix Brandon Lloyd. “I couldn’t be more proud of our entire team for their work researching, testing, and implementing features that reach new heights in reading motivation.”
This year’s finalists and winners were narrowed from the larger field and judged based on various criteria, including pedagogical workability, efficacy and results, support, clarity, value, and potential. Past winners include Adobe, Claned, Soundtrap, Blackboard, Discovery Education, DreamBox, Edthena, Promethean, Scholastic, SMART Technologies, zSpace, and more.
2022 SIIA CODiE Award Finalist in Best in Gamification in Learning
The SIIA CODiE Awards are the long-running, premier awards program for the software and information industries. Beanstack was picked as a finalist across 47 education technology categories, including new categories in education and leadership.
As a 2022 CODiE award judge stated, “[Beanstack] is an impressive way to help improve students’ reading and comprehension skills. The program allows for students to keep track of their progress, earn badges for completed sessions, and join different challenges.”
