Beanstack makes it easy with…
Beanstack is continually learning from educators, librarians, and readers. Every reading challenge is designed to…
Each school or library has its own Beanstack site with a unique URL and colors matched to its logo. Students and patrons also gain access to a companion mobile app that makes it easy to track reading and stay motivated to read. With Beanstack's reading challenge creation tools, educators and librarians can design their own reading challenges or use templates for winter reading, summer reading, Read Across America Month, and other times of year.
Readers of all ages can register in seconds or use the same login and password they do for other services. Beanstack makes it simple and fun for them to earn virtual badges and real-world prizes by keeping track of their reading, posting book reviews, and completing activities.
Librarians and educators gains tools that help sign readers up, log their reading, and redeem their prizes. Individual staff members may have added control over functions like creating reading lists and running drawings. And your central office gains access to hundreds of reports breaking down participation and helping you draw valuable insights.
This one-of-a-kind app lets patrons and students time reading sessions, log books by scanning their ISBN numbers, keep a log of current and past reading, track daily reading stats, and achieve streaks for reading multiple days in a row - all while they are reading independently or participating in summer reading, 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, #WinterRead, and other reading challenges.
Beanstack sends each reader a weekly email or text message recommending a book based on their age and interests. Our recommendations are curated by librarians from over 1,300 tags.
Readers within your library or school can post and like written reviews along with photos or videos, called "Picture Reviews," to help other readers discover their next book.
