Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations (Zoobean, Inc.; Arlington, VA): Job Duties: Specific responsibilities of the position include: Content deep-dives: Short-term, team-focused projects: Lead short-term deep dives and cross-functional project teams to structure and execute analyses needed to develop recommendations; Lead forming solid processes (and easy to use tools) for setting revenue goals and tracking sales and marketing performance; Partner with sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure an in-sync go-to-market strategy across verticals; Oversee account escalation process: Define and manage process for red account escalations, and collaborate with client success to flag tier-level clients and key usage trends; and Own accounts receivable and payment collection process and deploy control to maintain collection KPIs within industry standards; Organizational performance processes: Long-term, ongoing projects: Build a successful and healthy team review process; Execute on improvements to organizational structure, find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them, design optimal workflows, and align internal processes; Partner with the Outside Angle team to manage processes related to Lattice review and semi-annual team retreats from planning through execution; and Contribute to improving our capabilities by enhancing existing processes and recruiting and developing new team members; CEO support: Ad-hoc, both long- and short-term projects: Provide insightful recommendations (KPI Highlights) in a data-driven, collaborative, and thoughtful manner to senior leadership, and promote efficient action against recommendations; Create a high degree of visibility and responsibility by reviewing user engagement trends and taking ownership of reports to the investors; Uncover and structure complex problems and opportunities and build models to communicate opportunities to leadership; Quarterly business review: create templates and track successful completion/outcomes of company bonus and team commission plans; Project manage and own tasks with respect to internal planning functions, such as budget setting, financial model updates, and HR; and Manage relationship with accounting contractors. Based at company HQ; Position may telecommute from anywhere in the US.
Minimum requirements: Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field or foreign equivalent and 3 years of experience in Business Strategy, Corporate Finance, or Go-To-Market Planning (Will accept experience as Strategy & Operations Manager or any other title/occupation in which the required experience was gained).
Must have: Demonstrated excellent business judgment; Demonstrated ability to handle complex situations with clarity, confidence, and thorough analysis; Demonstrated ability to build productive cross-functional relationships and interact directly with all levels of the organization and external parties; Demonstrated experience with SaaS and online business models; Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with a track record of presenting complex analysis to both technical and business audiences.
